Readings are Matthew 28:1-10 ("The Resurrection") & 16-20 ("Jesus Appears to His Disciples"), with a reference to Immanuel in Matt 1:23. The sermon was followed by four baptisms on this Easter Sunday. (The Resurrection is also described in Mark 16, Luke 24, and John 20.)
About the Speaker
Martin Hills
Martin was a minister at Central Baptist between 2006 and 2016. He was ordained in April 2009. Martin was a trainee youth minister at Central between 1997 and 2000, before leaving to join Essex Young People’s Drug and Alcohol Service as Senior Outreach worker. In 2006 he rejoined the Ministry Team and trained at Ridley Hall, Cambridge.
