"Please Take Generously."
A sermon preached on 19th May, 2019.
Luke 10:38-42
Reading is Luke 10:38-42 ("At the Home of Martha and Mary" from NIV) with references to perfume in John 12:2-3 and the Good Samaritan in the preceding passage, Lk 10:25-37, also Psalms 117, 118, & 119. The sermon featured a brief clip from Terry Gilliam's 2009 movie 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus' (not included in this recording), and earlier in the service, in line with the theme of the sermon, offering baskets full of money were passed round with an invitation to take some coins. The sermon was followed by Communion.
