Genesis 26:1-33
Reading is Genesis 26:1-33 ("Isaac Lives at Gerar" and "The Agreement Between Isaac and Abimelech"), with a reference to Abraham and Sarah in Genesis 20, also the period of transition at CBC following Paul Beasley-Murray's retirement. The sermon was followed by Communion.
Martin Hills
Martin was a minister at Central Baptist between 2006 and 2016. He was ordained in April 2009. Martin was a trainee youth minister at Central between 1997 and 2000, before leaving to join Essex Young People’s Drug and Alcohol Service as Senior Outreach worker. In 2006 he rejoined the Ministry Team and trained at Ridley Hall, Cambridge.
